COVID-19 Information in Glendale

Whether we like it or not, COVID-19 is here to stay. To ensure the safety of our patients and our staff and mitigate any spread, we offer COVID-19 testing at our pre-surgery facility through our affiliates at Nobility Health. Your insurance will cover all costs for your COVID-19 tests. If you do not have insurance, your COVID-19 test will be complimentary. Therefore, there should be no out-of-pocket costs for the piece of mind that comes with testing.

What are our COVID-19 protocols?

Avalon Surgery Center is committed to maintaining a safe environment for our patients and guests. We have implemented extra precautions to ensure your safety and peace of mind.

• Masks required for anyone entering the facility: Patients, visitors, staff, and physicians.
• All patients are required to provide a negative COVID-19 (RT-PCR) test within 72 hours of the scheduled procedure.
• All patients screened for symptoms/temperature check before entry.
• No visitors are allowed in the surgery center except for minors and patients requiring special assistance. One person may accompany the patient at check-in and will be notified when the patient is ready for pick-up.
• If someone is approved to accompany the patient, they will need to undergo the same screening standards as the patients.
